The Toledo Potters Guild offers adult pottery classes for beginning  to intermediate students age 18 through adult.  Please read through the following information as to days, dates, times, class content, fees, and registration. The attached registration form and payment of all class fees must be received 6 business days before class begins Current students get first priority for registration.

Days, Dates, Times:

Class Content:

Instruction on use of the potters wheel, hand building, forming techniques, and glaze decoration. The small class size allows instructors to work with both beginning and more advanced students. No experience necessary.

Class Size:

Class size is limited to 10 students (based on equipment availability). A class may be cancelled if a minimum enrollment of 6 is not reached. Waiting lists will be established to possibly offer an additional class.  CLASSES FILL QUICKLY. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!

Fees:

Tuition - $135.00, ten sessions of instruction (25 hours). Supply fee - $20.00, covers cost of glazes, firings, supplies. Clay fee - $8.00 per 25 lbs. (Student may purchase clay as needed. 25 lbs.is minimum purchase.  Guild clay only.) Tool fee - $12.00 per kit.  Students enrolling in their first pottery class must purchase the tool kit. Fees may be paid with a check, MasterCard/Visa. Total for new students is $175.00 for a 10 week session Note: Subtract $12 if you already have your own tools.

Registration:

Fill out attached registration form. Detach the form and send or hand deliver  with your payment of all fees. (Keep this part of the form for easy refernce.) Registration must be received 6 working days before the first week of classes. Current students are given priority, then spaces are filled on a first received basis.

Plan on attending your preferred class section. You WILL NOT be contacted unless your preferred class section is filled prior to our receiving your registration. Dress appropriately for working with clay the first class session.
